Calling All Self-Employed's, Home-based, Consultants, Independent Professionals, Small Office-Home Office and MicroBusinesses!
YOU ARE NOT ALONE...
According to figures released in 2007 by the Office of Advocacy, U.S. Small Business Administration: Companies with 10 or less employees make up 94.9% of all U.S. firms, making it the fastest growing segment of the business community.
One aspect of running a microbusiness is that many owners face is the feeling of isolation. Word-of-mouth advertising only goes so far. Networking is essential to the success of any business, and yet many local chambers of commerce and business associations that offer networking opportunities cater to retail, storefront operations or larger companies. Since being a microbusiness creates its own unique set of circumstances and/or problems, these business owners need to share experiences with each other. It was in this spirit that the American Association of MicroBusinesses was created.
