Past Expo Archives
The Minnesota Small Business Expo & Conference, now in it's tenth year, has continued to grow and evolve. The mission of the the Expo has always remained the same, to be the premeire event for small businesses sized 25 or less, be they home-based, So-Ho, storefront operations or larger companies. Deliver the greatest value for tradeshow exhibiting, offer exceptional educational programming, quality keynote speakers, create an environment conducive to networking and making direct sales (commerce).
A major milestone for the Expo was moving the event from Zuhrah Shrine Center (home to the 2000, 2001 and 2002 events), to the Minneapolis Convention Center (now our fifth year). From it's humble beginnings back in 1999, the first Expo was held at Marcy Open School in SE Minneapolis (that event record exists only on paper), to hitting the bigtime at MCC, follow the history of what is still a very grassroots, volunteer effort.
